It's rare I make an unolocked journal entry. So read it or don't, it's an individual choice.

My post about equality and activisim yesterday was not a statement about who was a "good gay" and who was a "bad gay". If anyone read it as such, the meaning was clearly missed.

They also know absolutely nothing about me.

I'm going to make this abundantly clear before there are further misunderstandings:

- I did not make my post as an "attack" on anyone. I made it because I firmly believe in what I said - that activisim results in change.

- I did not infer that anyone was a "bad" anything in my entry. I stated that it was our obligation and responsibility to stand up agaisnt wrong-doings in the world.

- I'm not in any way apologizing. I firmly believe what I wrote and if that's enough to make someone dislike me, then fine. That's their choice.

- This isn't about friends lists or who has decided to ditch me off theirs. Users do what they want with their friends list. This isn't high school, I'm not going to ask why it was done and my feelings aren't hurt. I'm also not going to ask anyone to re-friend me.

So there it is in a nutshell.

Copy this sentence into your livejournal if you're in a heterosexual marriage/relationship (or if you think you might be someday), and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow.
